  • 3.5" elephant cutter
  • 2" elephant cutter
  • 1.5" fluted cutter
  • 2.5" fluted cutter
  • Black food color pen
  • 1.5" round cutter
  • 5/8" round cutter
  • 3/8" round cutter
  • 1.5" heart cutter
  • 0.75" heart cutter
  • Paint Brush
  • Water
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Pizza cutter

Step 1

Mix gray fondant. To mix, mix 50 parts white, 2 parts black, and 1 part yellow.

Step 2

Roll out gray fondant and cut one large elephant and one small elephant.

Step 3

Use your finger to gently smooth the edges of the elephant.

Step 4

Roll out the pink fondant. Use the 1.5" fluted cutter and the 2.5" fluted cutter to cut out one circle of each size.

Step 5

Dip a paint brush in water and spread some water onto the top of each elephant. Place the pink circles that you cut in step 4 onto the elepants, using the water to act as an adhesive. Gently press the pink circles against the elephants.

Step 6

Use a pizza cutter to cut the extra part of the pink circles off, following the shape of the elephants.

Step 7

Insert the popsicle sticks into the front of each elephant's leg as shown.

Step 8

Roll out white fondant. Cut out several circles using your various, round cutters. Use the water and paint brush to lightly moisten the backs of the white circles and place them onto the elephants as shown in the image.

Step 9

With your remaining gray fondant, cut out two heart-shaped pieces. Again, use the water and the paintbrush to moisten the back of the hearts and place them onto the toppers as shown.

Step 10

Use a black food color pen to draw the eyes on the elephants.

Step 11

Gently press the elephants into your cake with the sticks as shown and enjoy!
