Bunny Cake Topper Tutorial

What you'll need:

  • Buddy Valastro Foods Fondant
  • Round cookie cutter
  • Long diamond cutter
  • Round piping tip (No. 12)

Step 1

Roll out the white fondant. Use your circle shaped cutter to cut circles out for the bunny's face.

Step 2

Cut several diamond shapes out of the white fondant (enough for two ears per bunny).

Step 3

Roll out the pink fondant and cut diamond shapes out of the pink fondant. Enough for 2 ears per bunny.

Use the No. 12 piping tool to cut out circle shapes for the bunny's nose.

Step 4

Use the diamond cutter again to cut the pink diamonds to be slightly smaller as shown in the picture.

Step 5

Use your paint brush and a small amount of water to adhere the two pieces of the bunny ears together.

Step 6

Gently fold the bottom of the bunny ears to be pinched together as shown.

Step 7

Use the paintbrush and a small amount of water to attached the bunny nose to the main circle for the bunny face as shown.

Step 8

Use your black, edible ink pet to draw eyes, whiskers, and a mouth on the bunny as shown.

Step 9

Place the bunny face and ears into the cupcake or cake as shown.
